PRIVO shared its expertise with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner during the consultation on the Children’s Online Privacy Code. Our message was clear: knowing the age of your audience is essential, age-appropriate design is non-negotiable, and broken age gates are not good enough. We called for strong safeguards around AI, parental controls, and global interoperability to protect children wherever they go online.
