Marketing Coordinator

Job Description:

The PRIVO Creative Services and Marketing team is currently looking for a Marketing Coordinator to assist in day to day operations that will include market research, managing PRIVO’s social media presence, email marketing communications, blog and gather performance data across platforms. The Marketing Coordinator must be able to react quickly to support business needs, determine daily activities, and program content while delivering to deadlines. Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in both social media and direct response, online advertising and market research.

Marketing Coordinator Tasks:

  • Help drive brand awareness, market research and identify trends in the industry to help in determining marketing direction.
  • Gather data across PRIVO platforms to interpret, turn into actionable items and execute changes to optimize our product and live campaigns as well as generate regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Manage social media presence and special ad campaigns.
  • Support with content creation and content strategy for email marketing campaigns and blogs, then tracking/reporting on effectiveness.
  • Help develop traffic generation strategy.
  • Assist in creating materials used for proposals, correspondence and presentation materials and reports.
  • Help coordinate special events.

Marketing Coordinator Tasks:

The ideal candidate will have a cheerful can-do attitude, an analytical mind and critical skill-set as well as the ability to project manage several deliverables. Key requirements for this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience within marketing and the digital space (relevant internship experience is acceptable). Digital kid industry a plus.
  • Careful attention to detail without sacrificing deadlines.
  • High energy – must be a deadline driven, highly flexible, and a multi-tasking master.
  • Love numbers and problem solving with data and have an analytical mindset.
  • Assist in creating materials used for proposals, correspondence and presentation materials and reports.
  • Be curious with an appetite for knowing what people think and how they behave online in the social space.
  • Have a passion for brand-centric online marketing.
  • Have strong copywriting skills and an understanding of the importance of creative in effective online advertising.
  • Have a solid understanding of online marketing and significant experience with Twitter and Facebook.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Advertising, Twitter Advertising, Search Marketing or other native advertising a big plus.
  • Comfort level with Excel. Fluency in Word and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a start-up work environment with multiple stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must.
  • Should be well versed with e-mail marketing and lead generation through email marketing.
  • Should be able to improve yourself everyday with both online and offline tutorials as digital marketing strategies are always improving.
