A renowned expert in youth and family trends, Paul Kurnit has been a consultant on youth and family marketing and new media for McDonald’s, Nickelodeon, Scholastic, Polaroid, General Mills, Universal Studios and other blue chip companies. He is a frequent speaker and writer for television, radio and print media, including NBC, CNN, Fox, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, USA Today, Barrons, Ad Age, AdWeek and BrandWeek.
Mr. Kurnit has over 25 years in the advertising and children’s industries, working at Benton & Bowles and Ogilvy & Mather, where he managed a number of classic brands for Procter & Gamble, Kraft/General Foods and American Express. Most recently, Mr. Kurnit served as President at Griffin Bacal where Mr. Kurnit managed businesses in almost every consumer and service category. He serves on the boards of several industry organizations, including The Advertising Council and its Creative Review Committee (CRC), The National Advertising Relations Board (NARB) and The Advertising Educational Foundation (AEF). He is a member of the advisory boards of the Children’s Advertising Review Unit (CARU) of the Better Business Bureau, the Entertainment Software Ratings Bureau (ESRB) and Kid Power.
